We invite you to the exhibition – Ceramic Symposium 2023 Ostrava.
The event will take place from 7.9. to 15.10.2023. The vernissage of the exhibition will take place on 10.9.2023 at 16:00 and will include a book launch of the book “Iron Cathedrals“.
Five sculptors from the Czech Republic and Slovakia will create sculptures on the theme „Inception“. The sculptures will be non-traditionally baked in Ostrava’s industrial furnaces and exhibited in Dolní Vítkovice area.
Who can you look forward to? The exhibiting artists are Mirka Špačková, Jiří Břenek, Lenka Morávková, Andrej Frič, and Jana Mikysková.
After the exhibition, the artwork will go to hospitals, schools and institutions to permanently decorate the public areas.
The Ceramic Symposium will take place in the brand new FUTUREUM building in Dolní Vítkovice. It is a unique museum concept that is ought to represent the future of technology and human actions.
