We would like to invite you to the premiere of an unconventional production of the play “Bílá nemoc” (the White Disease) by Karel Čapek, which will take place on 11.11.2023 at 19:00 in FUTUREUM.
The production will be performed in the underground space of the building. We recommend to wear warm clothes and appropriate footwear to the audience members. The production features strobe lights and loud music and lasts 60 minutes without intermission.
About the play:
The epidemic of the so-called white disease. No one knows about it, everyone talks about it. We all only have three minutes. A sick ego at war and a war in the hands of the ego.
- In 1937, Karel Čapek wrote the play “Bílá nemoc” (the White Disease).
- In 2019, the first case of Covid-19 was reported in Wuhan, China.
- In 2022, Russia started an invasion in Ukraine.
Dispute as a matter of personal honor. The strength of an individual lies in his determination to stand up for himself, even when his opinion becomes oppressed by the surrounding majority.
